3rd edition: Buy a car, plant a tree
On Earth Day (April 22nd), HGregoire, in collaboration with Tree Canada, will launch the 3rd edition of its “Buy a car, plant a tree” campaign.
From April 22nd to May 22nd, HGregoire will therefore plant a tree for each car sold.
On its last edition, HGregoire planted almost 800 red oaks in the Outaouais region, near Kazabazua, in the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau MRC, to replace the jack pines affected by a fungus infection. With this initiative, HGregoire, with the help of its clients, therefore planted nearly 1,300 trees in the recent years.
« Being always involved in our community, we support causes that are important to us, including the environment and air quality. That’s why, as a leader in the industry, we want to continue to participate in the preservation of our forests, in partnership with Tree Canada”, explained John Hairabedian, president of HGregoire.
This year, HGregoire hopes to plant around 800 trees again and thus help clean up the air we breathe.
